Ok so we are behind the eight ball a little bit here blogging about the fun line of polishes inspired by Katy Perry and released by OPI last Fall. But since we have been out of the game since last November I'm hoping you'll excuse our tardiness on reporting this trend. ;)
The hottest ticket these days seems to be this bold statement top coat from OPI called Black Shatter. Applying a coat of Black Shatter over your fave polish pick creates a trendy cracked pattern that I haven't seen duplicated any other way. Want to score a bottle of your own?? Good luck. Most salons and shops are completely sold out of this hot product. Although if you're lucky you could find yourself a bottle on ebay and some online shops here and there. Happy hunting!!
My second favorite polish of the moment is also from the Katy Perry Collection by OPI. Teenage Dream is like a girly explosion. My 2 year old daughter and I are both equally enthralled with this color. Like mother, like daughter....if it sparkles, we're game!! And this polish sparkles like a pink disco ball.
From the new Spring/Summer 2011 Texas Collection by OPI our fave pick is the "It's Totally Fort Worth It" polish. This pretty, pearlescent gray polish is anything but predictable. I'm known for my love of gray and why not?? Gray remains on the radar as one of the hot colors for 2011. It goes with everything and it's better than your basic black.
