Homemade Bubble Solution and Pipe Cleaner Bubble Wands

What kid (and grown-up - admit it) doesn't love blowing bubbles on a warm and sunny Summer day?? If your kids love this fun outdoor activity as much as mine do it would be a great idea to have a really good bubble recipe in your repertoire. We have tested out a few and are pleased to share with your our very favorite. To keep your bubble solution ready to go store in a plastic container with a tight lid - we used an empty peanut butter jar.

What You'll Need
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 cup liquid dishwashing soap
  • 1/4 cup glycerin (can be found at any pharmacy, we found ours at Walmart for $1.99)
  • 1 tsp. sugar
Mix all ingredients together - and you're done!!

To make your very own bubble wands try twisting some pipe cleaner like we did in the photo below.

Have fun!!
