Do the Dinosaur Stomp!!

My home has been infested by....dinosaurs!!! Don't fret - these dinos are of the smaller and sillier variety. If you think your home could stand for a gaggle of giggling kid'o'sauruses then try whipping up a batch of these cardboard dino feet together.

What You'll Need
  • Pieces of cardboard (something sturdy like the backs or sides of a box)
  • Scissors
  • Paint and paintbrush
  • Ribbon

How-To

1. Draw and cut out the shapes of your dino feet from the sturdy cardboard, make sure they are big enough to accommodate your childs feet comfortably.

2. Have your child paint the feet a bright dino-riffic green. Allow to dry.

3. Poke holes in the dried dino feet with the scissors. We had our kiddos place their feet over the dino feet first to mark the space on either side of their feet where the holes would go. Tie ribbon through the holes to create the strap where your childs feet will slip in. Double or triple knotting will help keep these straps in place. Once secure tie a piece of ribbon to the bottom side of each strap - these pieces will be tied behind your childs foot to hold the dino feet in place.

Get stomping!!!
