Simple Egg Carton Counting Game

A super simple activity (and a GREAT way to recycle an evil styrofoam egg carton) to help your little one practice their counting skills. We used a black marker to label each egg carton from 1 - 12 then began some counting fun. Count the numbers together, fill each hole with the corresponding number of items and then count them again as you take the items back out. Remember to be patient and give lots of praise when your child manages to count out all by themselves. Try counting chocolate chips like we did for yummy fun..or m&m's, small cereal pieces, raisins, stickers, pompoms, or whatever else you can come up with.

Aiden's verdict - "I want to play the counting game again!! It's my FAVORITE!!" We have a winner.
