My little explorer LOVES to build. Whether it's blocks, a mechano set or even random household objects held together with sticky tape, some sort of building or sculpture is being put together on a daily basis in our home. We recently purchased a few too many bags of marshmallows for a Halloween related recipe so what better way to put them to use than for a fun activity that helps build cognitive skills and encourages creativity. Sometimes it's the simplest things thought up in only a quick moment that result in the most pleasure. Hours were spent in one afternoon creating sculptures of all shapes and sizes. After 24 hours marshmallows will have hardened enough to allow your child to paint their favorite creation if they please.
